Description

This Vashon Island addition and remodel transformed a small, outdated home into a larger, more functional cabin while preserving its cozy character. Located on a critical area site, the project required careful planning and construction techniques to meet environmental requirements and site restrictions.

Before construction could begin, the existing structure needed to be stabilized using steel beams to support the home and prepare it for the addition. McIntyre Construction successfully navigated these challenges while expanding the living space and incorporating custom details that enhance both functionality and comfort.

The result is a warm and inviting cabin that offers more usable space while remaining connected to its natural surroundings.
